Raise the roof – 301th Edition

Bekele Mulaw had barely moved into his new house when he had a run-in with the safety features. His wife was preparing coffee for a traditional Ethiopian ceremony, roasting the beans over a brazier to grind, boil and pour for guests, when the smoke alarm chirped. The kitchen filled with smoke, which dissipated into an aromatic fog that mingled with incense.
