They definitely were the Fireworks of the Grand Opening. It just opened January 17th. The street was not open to drive down on New Years Eve. The Video was originally posted that night or the next day. You can do a search for other video of the opening fireworks and it will match up.

That would be one hell of a sight from the rooms. =P I’m staying here right now and the view just looking out onto Vegas alone is beautiful.
