Las Vegas Travel Package planning is easy-to-do!

Grab a pen and paper now; you are going to plan a fun exciting trip in 60 minutes or less!  Our guide will show you exactly "how to" get the best deals (while avoiding costly mistakes and stretching your purchasing power to the limit!

The process:  Step 1. Travel Arrangements  Step 2.  Hotel Room  Step 3. Planning your activities

Step 1 - Planning for the arrival and the Departure

Las Vegas Travel Package planning needs to include a “timeframe”.  How and when are you going to get there and return home?

  • Will you be traveling my automobile or airplane?
  • How much vacation time are you going to allot to the flight or the drive?
  •

As a general rule of thumb we recommend flying unless you live within a 500 mile radius.

The reason:  The last thing you want to do is arrive in Sin City tired!  If you are like the typical visitor (who stays about 5 days) you are not going to get much sleep, so maximize your enjoyment and don’t arrive tired!

Tips for drivers:

  • Great Las Vegas Travel Package planning requires you to arrive!  Service your vehicle before the trip!  Southern Nevada is a desert environment and your car will be put under stresses normally not encountered.
  • Leave early but not too early (Make sure you are well rested and alert).
  • Bring along at least a 2nd driver to help share the driving tasks.
  • Plan on arriving at your Hotel by 4pm!  Arrive with plenty of time to check in, get a nice meal, and relax before you start to play.
  • Consider renting a car so you don’t put your vehicle through the wear and tear.  Click Here to find the best rental car rate in your city! No hassle, no obligation.
  • Bring along easy to eat finger foods like baby carrots, bottled water, string cheese, and fresh fruits to keep alert and refreshed during your drive.

Tips for flyers:

Step 2 - Find a quality room in the "Heart of the Strip"

Tips for finding and enjoying great hotel rooms:

  • Stay on the Center to South End of the Strip.  You'll walk less and have more fun.  This is where all the newer mega resorts like Mandalay Bay, Paris, Bellagio, Bally's, MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, Four Seasons, etc. are located.
  • Looking for a great value in a 3 Star Resort (Located only 2 blocks off the South Strip - Right in the very best part) we recommend San Remo!
  • Compare rates then reserve the most expensive room your budget allows.  Click Here to compare rates at all the top Casino Hotel Resorts with one simple search and no obligation whatsoever!
  • A $29.95 per night hotel room may not actually be the best value if the linens are worn, the air conditioner is broken, and you are stuck next to a noisy elevator and have to listen to everyone coming and going while you try to sleep.
  • Why "waste money" on the room you say?  "But I’m not even going to be in my room" you say?  That’s just not true.  Sure you may only be planning on sleeping there, but how well are you going to sleep on a crappy bed?  What if it’s so uncomfortable that you can’t sleep at all?
  • Have you ever stayed in a Hotel where you wondered if it was even safe to use the restroom?  Yikes!  Don’t get stuck in a roach infested dive just to save a few bucks.  You will only regret it.  After a long period in the casinos or out to shows it’s so nice to come back to a refreshing shower or bath.  Hit Southern Nevada during the “Hot” season and you are going to be taking plenty of showers!
  • Consider sharing expenses with other family members and friends.  Double up and get a better room, and enjoy the creature comforts of the more expensive suites generally reserved for the "high rollers".
  • Are you a smoker or a non smoker?  Make sure you specify the type of room to the booking agent.
  • To see how much the Casinos are charging to book directly through their front desk visit our  Accommodations Pages... where we list the homepage of each of the major resorts.
  • We have a listing of the top RV Parks here for the motor home crowd.

Step 3 - Planning your activities

Tips for planning your meals expenditures and gambling allowance:

  • We can’t tell you which casinos are going to make you rich-which games to play, or how to spend your money.. that’s up to you!  But we can help you find what you are looking for quickly and easily.  We list everything:  Hotels, restaurants, show tickets, tours - everything you need to have fun and plan your vacation.  Use the vast resources listed on our Home Page in Las Vegas Guide before you visit and you'll have a much better trip!
  • We hope you win big!  But never gamble more than you can afford!
  • Before your trip set aside exactly how much money you are going to spend on blackjack, 21, the slots - whatever you like and under no circumstances spend more than that amount.  Be prepared to lose everything you allocate for gambling and walk away with a smile on your face!  Vegas is all about having fun, sometimes you lose at the games sometimes you win.  Always prepare for the worst luck.

Vacation Planning...

isn't really difficult once you acquaint yourself with the right websites and tools!  Soon you will be able to put together your own custom plan – saving yourself money, time, and aggravation. Enjoy your visit!
