I said “I do” because I don’t – 314th Edition

I’m sweating like I just finished a 10k. The chapel is stifling. And tiny. The size of a dorm room. We stand uncomfortably as a recording of an organ belching the “Bridal March” trills to an end. I feel like I’m about to vomit all over my grooms’ tie, which so nicely matches his sky-blue eyes. The man I’m about to commit my life to is my ex-boyfriend. As we stand hand in hand, face to face, I have never felt more awkward.
