Bette played there in the 70′s 80′s 90′s and 2000.
Cher was there in the 60′s
Both divas a incredible..
but the Diva Divine is Bette ..at least she doesn’t lip sinc.
next up i would like to see Tina, Jacko,
Aretha, Ill Divo or even Susan Boyle!

i love bette and celine but she did not pave the way cher played there years ago way before celine and bette yes its a new stage but cher still played there before them

Celine revolutionized the way artists performed in Vegas. If you can’t understand that, then I suggest you take a second look at the unprecedented commerical and critical appeal that her show created. Cher, Bette, and Elton came to Vegas to capitalize on the success that Celine made. I mean for crying out loud, they made the coliseum for her! She can travel across the globe and sell out seats or stay in Vegas and sell out seats. Either way, she’s a money maker and people will always see her!

Celine paved the way for Cher in Vegas???? OMG. . . . . go back to the 70′s, 80′s and see where Cher was performing and then look and see where Celine was performing at the same time. Celine was NOWHERE. I don’t argue that Celine is a great entertainer and a fantastic singer….but she didn’t pave anything for Cher in Vegas. Cher laid those bricks for herself one by one.

Celine paved the way for Bette and Cher to perform at Ceaser’s Palace. People forget that the coliseum theatre was specifically built for Celine at a cost of $100 million! She played to 3 million people and grossed $400 million dollars in ticket sales! Celine is the queen of Vegas.
