Photo of the Green Valley Ranch Resort taken April 2009 from the back side near the pool area.  Note the vineyard and the immaculate grounds.  Green Valley Ranch Resort is located about 7 miles from “The Strip” in the Las Vegas Suburb of Henderson.  Easy access to the resort by taking the Las Vegas Beltway (Interstate 215) to the Green Valley Parkway Exit.  The resort also features an upscale are just to the North called “The District” which houses retail restaurants, shops, and condominiums. At the time of this writing Green Valley Ranch Resort is a Station Casinos Property.

April 2009, even with a full blown recession people seem to still be coming to Las Vegas as this image of a crowded sidewalk full of toursits suggests.

This image is taken at ground level in front of the Venetian Hotel Casino showing the entrance of the “Grand Canal” which extends for approximately one quarter mile inside the resort.

This image was taken in the morning – thus the lack of traffic; most people are slow to rise in the morning on the Vegas Strip.  For those of you who can remember the old Waterslide Park on the Strip this image was taken from near there and looking south.

This is an Aerial view of Downtown or “old” Las Vegas. The dome/tube structures are the ceiling of the Fremont Street Experience.
